A pair of uniquely designed Biedermeier armchairs attributed to Josef Danhauser,
the most important innovated master cabinetmaker among 951 registered masters in Vienna 1823, due to research.
Walnut, solid and veneered on pine wood.
Outcurved seatbacks with spindles, turned stretcher and a padded panel.
Padded drop-in seats and padded arms resting on baluster supports.
Turned front stretcher. Horse hair cover.
"S" - shaped sideframes are in focus of this design which the master also used for his sidechair #111.
